recently, at the construction site of nibo station on the chengkun railway, the un5-150zb6 switch flash butt welder independently developed by aigre has achieved in-switch welds and on-track insert welding for no. 9 switches for the first time, successfully overcoming the technical challenge of "inability to clamp due to the narrow frog of no. 9 switches".
the inner spacing of the rail head at the frog of no. 9 switches is 160mm, while at 450mm from the weld, this spacing narrows to just 110mm—this is the crux that has long made flash butt welding difficult. in its construction scheme for this project, aigre extended the frog rail by 600mm, thereby successfully completing the flash butt welding of the no. 9 switches.
as a key livelihood hub in the daliang mountains, nibo station undertakes the dual mission of serving the "slow train" route for students commuting to school and the "health train" for medical support. aigre will continue to empower livelihood projects with technological innovation, injecting new impetus into the maintenance and upgrading of railway facilities in remote areas.
